Pitching OpportunitiesPitch It! - The N Youth Drama Pitch USD $10,000 Development prize(Submissions Closed) The winner of the Audience Choice Award at the Youth Drama pitch will also receive a $5,000 motion picture film product grant which is provided by returning partner Kodak Canada - Entertainment Imaging. The N, the nighttime network for teens, is a programming arm of MTV Networks. Our mission is to be the authentic voice of teens. On TV and online, The N addresses real life head-on and tackles teen issues with empathy, honesty and humor. Sharp, thoughtful, funny and tuned in to teen life, The N's programming is designed to create a buzz, giving the audience something to talk about and a voice to help them figure out their lives. We are looking for dramas, dramedies and comedies. The N's TV schedule features 12 hours a day of award-winning and original TV shows including: Degrassi: The Next Generation, Instant Star, South of Nowhere, Beyond the Break, Whistler, O.Grady, Miracle.s Boys, Dawson.s Creek, Summerland, Moesha, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and One on One. Please Note: Project eligibility is limited to series only. One-offs, MOWs and other stand alone projects are not eligible. A jury of industry experts will review all submissions and select the finalists.The finalists will present their projects to an assembly of Canadian and international decision makers who will then select the winners. The winner of the Youth Drama pitch will also receive a $5,000 motion picture film product grant as prizing for this year's Audience Choice Award which is provided by returning sponsor Kodak Canada Inc.
